The Daily Edit: Scotch & Soda

I first stumbled upon Scotch and Soda on a trip to Europe in 2009 and ever since I’ve always been obsessed with their menswear collections. Since Opening their first flagship store on Castlereagh street in December I am constantly referring the males in my life to the store for all their clothing requirements.

While I have always loved the innovative menswear, the women’s line ‘Maison Scotch’ is a relatively new venture for the company, entering the market with the Spring Summer collection in 2010. I was recently lucky enough to get my hands on some of the Winter collection and have fallen head over heels for every single piece.

The design of each garment is so well thought out and executed and the quality is always of the highest grade. And if that wasn’t good enough, to top it all off, the price for quality is unmatchable.

Two absolute stand out pieces for me from the entire collection this season is the leather biker pants and burgundy knit I am wearing below. For so long I have struggled to find a leather biker pant that can seamlessly shift from dressy to casual, that are comfortable and affordable and most importantly that look great! With so many leather leggings out there an actual pant was proving impossible until I stumbled upon these. They also come in black but I loved the burgundy and thought they would be great as a statement pair of pants. You can only imagine my excitement when I then flicked past this knit of the same coloring. I was absolutely beside myself. It features side zip detailing and a high neck, for that extra chic look leave your hair tucked in…so vogue!
