Spring/Summer ’15 trend: Relaxed suiting

Arguably one of the most wearable transeasonal trends would have to be relaxed suiting. Whether It’s a spring trench, a pair of white suit pants or a simple suit dress there is something so effortless and chic about a modern take on the classic suit.

Relaxed suiting saturated the runways at  this years New York fashion week and more recently Paris fashion week with an array of ready to wear shirting, silk trenches and relaxed suit pants a theme among designers.
On most occasions the Trends we witness at Mercedes Benz Fashion week, especially those in the fashion capitols of the world such as New York and Paris, set the direction for next seasons dressing. The relaxed suiting trend is no exception to this rule with many designers around the world already jumping on the bandwagon.

The most fabulous ensemble I found which stays true to the ‘Relaxed suiting’ theme is this incredible layered suit dress by Doris Q. With a faint pinstripe, high neck and beautiful layered detailing this dress definitley gives a modern edge to a classic idea.

Conservative enough to wear to work in an office environment, yet sexy and stylish enough to pair with heels and wear out for a night on the town.
