Black, grey, white, cream…sound familiar? Yes, I am describing the majority of our winter wardrobes. Of course, there is nothing wrong with having a monochromatic wardrobe, especially in winter but sometimes a pop of colour can go a long way.
I’ve found that for us Monochrome monogomists (isnt that a mouthful) the easiest way to incorporate colour into our wardrobe is the injection of a bright coat. My usual throw on is a black dress, some boots and I’m out the door, however in winter a black coat over the top of this ensemble seems a little…morbid. A bright coat over this outfit however would undoubtedly fill the void which its black counterpart would struggle to.
Luckily for me and of course all of you reading, I did the hunting and found us all the perfect bright, fuzzy winter coat. This gorgeous wool coat by Miss Moncur is the perfect injection of colour for our winter wardrobes. Not only is it a great cut and shape, the fur detailing around the collar adds a nice modern edge.
