A week in Swimwear: The Print

A printed bikini or onesie is a popular choice for summer and with an extensive range available from graphic prints and swirls to floral, tribal and animal print, which one do you go for?

I am of the belief that the sexiest print to opt for when choosing a bikini is leopard. I am not the biggest fan of leopard in everyday fashion because I feel as though sometimes it can be quite overwhelming and not at all flattering. Leopard print on a bikini however is a completely different ball game.

Bikinis are obviously a very minimal sense of attire compared to the rest of our wardrobe so an entire leopard bikini is nowhere near as domineering as its daytime counterpart. In fact, a leopard bikini can be extremely sexy and fashion forward but it all relies upon choosing the right style and the right leopard print.

As I am sure you are aware there are a tonne of different leopard prints out there and sometimes you can get quite hideous tacky versions and then other times they are just right.

The bikini I am wearing in this post is the perfect example of everything you want to look for in a printed bikini. Featuring a pink leopard print in a zipped crop and boy cut bottoms both by Duskii. The reasons I adore this style and print in particular are endless but let me narrow them down to a couple. Firstly, the black hems around this bikini make it easy for you to mix and match your tops and bottoms. If you aren’t feeling a complete head to toe leopard look you can throw on a black bikini top or bottom and still make a statement. The zip up crop style of this bikini is another feature I am loving. It is incredibly fashion forward and easy to throw on a pair of black high waist shorts to allow for a smooth transition from beach to bar. Not sold? Did I mention its also made from neoprene?
